Botanic - Rankin Park

Fitting out the interior of the houses continues to be the focus during this visit. This week, the interior walls, ceilings, architraves and skirting boards are being painted.

In the image above, you can see the handrail has been painted, waiting for it to be dried before being installed into the stairway.

The architraves and handrails are painted with an enamel paint for better protection on surfaces that are touched more frequently.

James from Sehez Group inspects the sliding doors that leads into the garages. This design improves space inside the garage area. Handles are yet to be installed into the door.

One of the highlights of the development has got to be the courtyard patios. Designed to be large enough for large outdoor furniture, this sun-filled area could be used for entertaining or just relaxing with a book. Extending from the main interior living room, the patio creates an air of spaciousness. Above, you can see the formwork installed, ready for the concrete to be poured in the coming days.

The driveway is being prepared to be poured as well. Above the stone aggregate is laid out before the concrete is poured.

As you can see, the project is not far from completion. We will endeavour to provide an update soon.
