Joslin Central - Kotara

Site Visit - 10th April, 2019

It has been a few weeks since the last update and we are getting very close to completion. During the visit, the concreters were laying down the final section of the driveway to connect to the street.

It is always interesting to see a concrete driveway being laid down. The level of concentration and teamwork was obvious. With the cement truck twirling in the background, the concrete is piped out throughout the area. At the same time, one person is shovelling it to the correct area, where another is stepping backwards into wet concrete whilst smoothing it out in front of him. Like all things, the experts make it look easy.

Upstairs on the balcony, the decorative hardwood pillars have been installed, completing the look of the exterior of the building.

In the courtyard, the concrete patio areas have also been laid, as well as the turf. The greenery is a welcome sight in creating a homely feeling. You can also see the timber pillar has also been installed in the courtyard.

Internally, the kitchen and bathrooms are now complete. The mirror splashback in the kitchen helps to open up the area and reflect natural light into the living area, as well as completing the contemporary and stylish design.

The ensuite shown above shows the floor-to-ceiling tiling, with luxurious finishes and materials, all to create a relaxing environment in which to live.

The bedrooms are also complete, with the soft and pliant carpet laid, and the ceiling fans installed. Outside the window, you can see the greenery from Bromley park, just a moments walk away.

As you can see, we are coming to the final days before the building of Joslin Central is complete. We will continue to update the blog within the next few weeks when construction is complete.
